The case may be that we would want to obtain your input on a particular issue or to advise you of an upcoming event, procedure, change, etc. Since many of the residents do not live in the City year around, we have attempted to contact property owners by way of e-mail as a test method of communication. We have already compiled a partial list of e-mail addresses; however it is by no means complete. If you would like to be added to our e-mail distribution list, please contact us at skyvalleyga@windstream.net. You should refer to City Ordinance 05-03 for tree cutting permit requests. All trimming or cutting of trees with an 8" diameter measured at 18" above the ground requires a tree cutting permit. Don't get stuck with a big water bill - TURN YOUR WATER OFF AT THE METER when you are going to be away for more than a few days. If water goes through your meter, you are responsible for the payment of that water. Also, please make sure you apply for a building permit to do any remodeling, additions, roofing, retaining walls, etc. to your home. When in doubt, ask! Anyone wishing to share pictures of the beautiful valley on our web site can send them on disk, by email, or we can scan your original photo and return it to you.
